Upon opening the wine shows some youthful reduction and classic herbal notes. with a little air, a gorgeous bouquet of candied red fruit shines through. The aromas are compelling and subtle, and not over the top. The wine is smooth, well balanced and feels weightless in your mouth, but ends with a soft tannin on the sides of your tongue and a bright acidity that begs for food. The lighter vintage shows elegant and grace and will continue to do so for years to come.
